After many years of experience in the hospitality industry we have developed a wide selection of carefully chosen, holiday homes, ranging from prestigious villas, to quaint little cottages and apartments in many fascinating locations. Levanto
We specialize in the area of “Le Cinque Terre” because both company founders have family and properties in this absolutely spectacular region of Northern Italy. Due to our connections with local people we are able to bring you the most authentic experience of these incredible five villages. Levanto In addition, if you are interested in specific services such as guided tours, culinary experiences, and many other catered services we probably can accommodate your needs due to the extensive network that we have developed. “The Five Lands” are composed of five small and Levanto old villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding area are all part of the famous Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over many centuries local people have built terraces on the steep and rugged Levanto landscape overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The true essence and beauty of this land is the complete absence of large corporate developments, in fact many of the local stores have been in the hands of the same family for generations. Small paths, trains, and boats connect the villages, and cars cannot reach Levanto the villages from the outside.
In terms of transportation local trains from La Spezia to Genova run all year long and are the easiest means of access to all five lands. In fact, with one local ticket you can hop from one village to the other. If you are interested in accessing the towns via the sea, a passenger Levanto ferry runs between the five lands with the exception of Corniglia due to the lack of access for a larger boat. However, if you truly want to experience the towns by sea we recommend hiring a local boat guide because you will be able to stop and swim around the protect waters of the park and than stop in each town. Levanto The view from the sea is truly romantic and unforgettable. A walking trail, known as Il Sentiero Azzurro (Light Blue Trail), connects all five villages. The trail from Riomaggiore to Manarola is called the “Via dell’amore” (Love Walk) because of the romantic and breath taking views where Levanto rugged land and sea meet together. This stretch of the path is accessible by wheel chair. The stretch from Manarola to Corniglia is the easiest to walk; however, the trail will end in Corniglia with a final climb of 386 steps. When you reach the top you will be pleased with an incredible view that spans a large section of Liguria and stretches into France on a clear day.
